Moon Phases Yoga* | Saturday 4:45 - 6:15 PM

Astrology is an ancient study of how stars, planets and the cosmos influence human lives. There is a profound connection with Yoga as a sister “science”, many yoga teachers can tell you this just by naming off a few poses, sequences, and stories from ancient Indian texts – i.e. Sun Salutations, Moon Salutations, Half Moon, Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras etc. Learning how to combine these two will elevate the teacher and practitioner to a new dimension of self-awareness, empowerment, and energy mastery. This class will: teach theming to the moon phase and zodiac sign including asana, pranayama, mudra, mantra, how each phase of the moon effects our energy in body mind and spirit, skills and insight for the practice of Svadhyaya, tools to develop optimal alignment with the cyclical nature of areas of life. This helps the yoga teacher align with a higher purpose of serving their students from a deeper level. Inspiration and motivation for classes!

Introduction to Foundation Training | Sunday 8:00 - 9:00 AM

Foundation Training is a simple solution that gives you the means to change the way you move and correct the imbalances caused by our modern habits.

Through a series of body-weight exercises, Foundation Training activates your posterior muscle chain, anchors the hips, decompresses the spine, and teaches you to take the burden of supporting the body out of your joints and put it where it belongs; in your muscles.

No matter your age or your fitness level, Foundation Training puts you on the path to wellness.

This workshop introduces you to the fundamental components of Foundation Training: Decompression Breathing, Anchoring, and Hinging. Using these three concepts, you are teaching your body to act as a pulley system to decompress the spine. Foundation Training can be applied to any existing yoga practice or as modifications for those who have chronic back, hip, knee, or shoulder pain.

Taught by Gabrielle Cahoon

Breathe to Heal: The Love Letter | Sunday 8:00 - 9:15AM

If I asked you to name all the things you love in life, how long would it take for you to name yourself?

This style of breathwork and coaching has the power to change your entire life, but first, we have to take that first step into the work. We begin by writing ourselves an unfiltered love letter, don’t hold anything back here, just let it flow without judgement. Then We will activate the sympathetic nervous system during 29 minutes of active breathwork to release self-doubt, stored trauma, and reprogram our way of thinking about ourselves. This is followed by an even more powerful heart opening guided meditation where we will bring in what truly matters to us so we can begin to cultivate more of that in our lives.

The most common feedback I hear after class is ‘That was like 20 years of therapy in one hour’, or ‘I don’t think my life will ever be the same’.

If you can keep an open mind, you just might have the most profound experience of your life.
**This class is not appropriate during pregnancy.

The Dance of Strength and Surrender* | Sunday 11:15 - 12:30 PM

When we tune into the delicate dance between strength and surrender on our mat we can cultivate a greater sense of awareness and connection by recognizing what we need and setting an intention for our practice. Often our patterns of either muscling our way through asanas or moving through a more passive practice, is also our way of moving through the world. The antidote to an imbalance, can be focusing on the opposite to find the balance. Throughout this all levels asana practice we will explore this, with the intention of taking this theme off of our mat into all that we do.
